• The DGS-1005D (Green Ethernet version) is a 5-port unmanaged gigabit switch that consumes less energy than conventional switches with the same specification.
  This switch reacts when a computer or network equipment connected to it is turned off, by placing the corresponding port in a standby mode that requires less power.
  In addition, the switch can adjust power consumption by sensing the current ethernet cable length, thereby saving any excess power that would otherwise be lost as heat.
