3. Disconnect AirPods from your device. Go to the Bluetooth settings on your device and select "Forget this device".
4. Open the case again.
5. Hold the button on the back of the case for about 10 seconds, until the status light on the case starts flashing white. This indicates that the AirPods are reset and ready to pair with a new device.
6. After the reset, you can pair the AirPods with your device again as if they were new.
